The platform has no provider account of its own. That one design decision changes who owns the numbers, who holds the quota, and who appears on the invoice.
Read the guide →An abandoned checkout is not a lost visitor. It is a customer who got as far as the payment step. Whaleal Cart watches for that moment and follows up automatically, so the recovery does not depend on someone remembering to check a report.
Shopify records a checkout when a customer reaches the payment step. When that checkout is never completed, it becomes recoverable — and the window to recover it is short: the customer still remembers the store, the cart and the intent.
Whaleal Cart captures those checkouts as they happen. There is no export, no spreadsheet and no manual list to work from: the moment a checkout is abandoned it enters a recovery sequence.
The default sequence is timed email: a first message around one hour after the checkout is abandoned, and a follow-up around twenty-four hours later. Both windows are configurable, and the sequence can be switched off per store.
If you want a second channel, there is an optional text (SMS) channel with its own send delay, independent from the email timing. You can run both channels, or just one.
Every recovery message is assembled from a template: the customer name, the items left behind, the order total and currency, the return link, and a discount code if you attach one. Personalisation comes from the template and the checkout itself — not from a language model.
Everything is embedded in the Shopify admin you already use. There is no second dashboard to log into, no code to deploy, and billing runs through Shopify together with the rest of your subscription.
Recovery messages go to customers who abandoned a checkout — one recovery message per checkout per channel — rather than to a purchased list. Consent rules and opt-out obligations stay with you, which is where they belong.

Read the guide →Every connection carries a send rate. The platform queues to that rate instead of firing as fast as a provider will accept, because the fastest way to get throttled is to send at the speed that causes it.
Read the guide →The sequence is the part most stores get wrong: too few messages and the reminder never arrives, too many and the store starts to feel like spam. Whaleal Cart ships with a two-step default and lets you move both windows.
Open →Text is the channel people actually read. But it is also the channel where getting it wrong is expensive — which is why the text here is a single, timed reminder about one abandoned checkout, sent through an account you already own.
Open →Cart abandonment is the gap between the customers who reached the payment step and the customers who finished it. Understanding where that gap opens is what makes recovery possible at all.
